If you think your tyres are deflating too quickly or if you’d like to try the better performance of Nitrogen-filled tyres, come on in where our technicians will re-inflate them quickly and professionally.

The right amount of inflation Tyres perform at their peak when they’re inflated to the correct pressure. Anything less and you’ll notice every bump in the road and every corner can seem to be more difficult to navigate than it should be. Feeling a little flat? If you’ve wondered why your tyres keep deflating, even if you don’t have a puncture, the answer is due to seepage. With compressed air from the tyre inflator available at your local petrol station, there is always a loss of pressure as the oxygen molecules leak out through the tyre casing. This causes the tyres to gradually deflate leading to faster wear, reduced safety and increased fuel costs. Keeping up the pressure Replacing the compressed air in your tyres with pure nitrogen helps them to maintain a constant pressure and therefore perform at their peak for longer. In fact, nitrogen leaks three or four times slower from your tyres than compressed air, which can lead to some pretty useful benefits:

  • Stable tyre pressure
  • Improved road grip
  • Safer all weather performance
  • Increased fuel economy
  • No internal oxidisation through the elimination of moisture
  • Increased tyre life
